::I was looking for a quality dry cleaners in Fort Worth and a family member suggested Leni Em’s. I have used their services at least once (and with no problems) before the new owner took over a few months ago. The new owner, Seema, needs a major lesson in customer service. I took a pair of pants along with other garments for dry cleaning on October 24th. I did not check the garments for damage when I picked them up the next day. Fortunately in the 23 years of using dry cleaning services I have never had a problem and because my cousin told me that Leni Em’s was great, I trusted that my garments would be fine (even with considering a new person had taken over ownership.) I went to wear the pants about 2 weeks ago and noticed the faux-leather contrast trim was damaged. It was torn off the cuff of the hem in some areas and the waistband was also damaged but not as badly as the hem (I have had these pants for over a year and the care instructions state they may be dry- cleaned and I have done so several times with no issues.) I put the pants in the trunk of my car so that I could return to Leni Em’s and show them the damage when I had time. FYI, Leni Em’s is out of my way and the only reason I am in that area is to go to there. Today, December 5th, I had time. To make a long story short, Seema was very defensive and basically called me a liar - claiming that I must have worn them and they became damaged, that they weren’t like this when I picked them up, etc. She also said that the pants may have become damaged from putting them in the trunk of my car, which is a completely ludicrous theory (as if I had some clothes eating troll back there.) Additionally, she said they had a 30 day policy for claiming damages which is fair but as a business owner who’s business runs on customer service and satisfaction, it’s probably a good idea to find some kind of a solution to help your customers and to especially not insinuate that they are lying. I have never been treated like that in any place of business. Regarding the 30 day policy, I brought the damages to Seema’s attention only 10 days after the 30th day and she treated me as if I was bringing them after 3 months. She was so focused on the date, October 25th, that she failed to realize it actually wasn’t that long ago. Seema, I don’t know if this is the first business you have ever owned but when your business relies on customer satisfaction, it’s probably not the best idea to call the very people who give you business liars. I strongly suggest that in the future when customers have problems with your service, you try to be helpful and find a solution instead of becoming defensive and accusing your customers of lying. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Never will I return and I will tell everyone I know not to patronize your business.
