::The best part of a pizza is the pizzas cheese, and Lee's Tavern delivered amazing cheese, crust, and sauce. The pizza on a cheese needs to be delicious and hot and gooey. Pizza is very important and if the cheese is soggy it is not something a pizza lover would like to eat. However, Lee's Tavern was overall an amazing experience with some of the best cheese, sauce, and crust. Lee's Tavern is definitively one of the best pizzerias I have been to in New York so far. It's crust is thin but very crunchy and delicious which is the reason it is different from other pizzerias. At Lee's They utilize the high quality New York water and it definitely shows in the end result, in which Lee's Tavern believes is the most important part. They put in the hard work for the pizza and makes it worth every bite and every inexpensive penny.

::Caters to a local crowd. The place has no signage. Very busy in later afternoon. Great bar pies. Sometimes hard to get a seat and is very noisy due to bad acoustics.

::Great, thin pizza. Reasonable prices. Inexpensive drinks. Plenty of space to sit, and lots of parking nearby.

::From the moment you step through the doors you will be transported back in time. One look around and you will see nothing but happy faces and old fashion décor. Lee's is a come as your are kind of place that doesn't allow pompous asses. The bar is lined with a good stock of traditional liquors and the menu is simple and straight forward to ensure the cooks serve consistent food every time. Calamari cook to perfection and the thin crust pizza is in a league of its own. If you are looking for a real old fashion traditional local bar where you can just blend in with the locals and eat some good food this is the place to be. Be sure you bring your CASH or use the onsite ATM to cash out.

::A true local bar with such good pizza that words can not describe which is a true feat in Staten Island. If you love thin crust pizza this will be your new favorite place. As if the amazing pizza wasn’t enough their prices are so reasonable you can drink there all night long and not break the bank. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this place is that they don’t deliver but they have take out. If you’re looking for a great low key night this is your place. I couldn’t even get a photo of the full pie because people attack it the second it hits the table.
