::Ledo’s Pizza: A reinvention of a pizzeria that challenges patrons to think about their approach to food and restaurants. Set up near other fierce competition (Hunan, McDonalds, et cetera) Ledo’s Pizza is one of many contestants in the expirimental restaurant playing-field—and they are looking promising. They have a unique taste, but don’t mar the experience with gaudy presentation or try-hard recipes. The food they have is formulaic and it can still be refreshing to have one, two, or even three times. The food itself is very welcoming and isn’t offensive; admittedly, it can be oily at times, but that is used to promote and increase interactivity with customers (asking waiters to put it back in the kitchen—or using a napkin). The defining factor out of all of this, though, is their reinvented approach to food. They are able to combine elements and ingredients that by what some would say should never be put together. For example, they have sandwiches at a pizza-joint. They also have salads—at a pizza-joint. Very cool if you ask me! The staff is very benign and approachable—they will never fail to impress me. When they serve food they regularly ask if everything is okay—something more restaurants need to train their staff to do. They also give out free, tasty lollipops, a level-up from the trite and predictable mint or toothpick. Random and gratuitous refills are to be expected, so that’s a plus. One thing to note (that was a bit off-putting) was that they asked me for age when I picked up an order of pizza—so be armed with ID. By adding a diverse and inclusive menu (for a pizza-place) Ledo’s Pizza is dominating the market. They show no signs of stopping, but that’s not bad thing.

::My family has been going here since I was a little girl and they have always been great. The owner and staff are all super friendly and the food is good. Also, can't beat the prices, especially in this area

::Visited this location this past weekend on Saturday. Called my order in ahead of time. When I walked in there were 5 staff members at the front counter just chatting away. 2 of them were making boxes and the other 3 were just having a good old time talking away. I stood at the counter waiting to be assisted. No one ever acknowledged I was standing there. I tried to get their attention but all to busy to even look my way. While waiting for someone to look up a young girl walked in and everyone turned to greet her and give her hugs all while I was still standing there. They then started to chat it up with this customer. I finally got the attention of a young lady that was behind the counter. I gave her my name and she got part of my order. She placed the pizza on the counter and turned around and started talking again. I asked the young gentlemen that was next to the cash register and he found the rest of my order and actually tossed it on top of the pizza. No one ever opened the box to make sure the pizza was ok or even the correct order. He took my money and then just placed my receipt on the counter to turn back around and continue to talk with everyone else. I have never felt so dismissed or ever had anyone actually toss my food at me. Guess you have to either be a friend of the staff or young to get good service at this location.
