::Closes at 5 pm ===== Is it okay to close a central police station in a 24/7 town at 5:00pm? NO. NO. NO. I had to go there when my rental car was broken into at the Golden Nugget pay garage midweek about 3:00 pm. No police officers would file a report on the scene. I wanted them to also lift the finger print off the window. I decided to go to the police station to get help only to be turned away at the door because they were closing. What about the finger print? Sorry, donāt have the time. Come back tomorrow. Went back in the morning to file a report. The next day, I received a post card saying my case was closed. Yep, thatās right. In other words, they donāt care. And apparently this had been happening repeatly at the GN (cameras are fake) but they werenāt going to follow through.

::Recently had a CCW finger printing requirement, from the initial greeting by officers to the conclusion of the business of the fingerprint activity. The entire department operation was outstanding in customer service and service. Personnel concerns for customer concerns were second to none. Many thanks for taking care of our community. The treatment of assistance to handicap people is above and beyond the basic services.
