::I had lunch at Las Brumas in Antioch, CA. It was the best experience of my life, authentic Salvadoran food, their special dishes and what I ordered had barbecue, lobster, grilled chicken, beans, rice and salad, etc., etc. This dish was wonderfully exquisite. The best authentic pupusas in flavor, plates very generous, they are big and delicious I recommend Las Brumas special! The service and the waiters are very friendly, our order at the table was fast, the place is very clean, and the bathroom is impeccable, I love it, this place is cozy. There will always be rude people who like to degrade restaurants and more so Latin cuisine, it seems that they get paid to be evil to damage the good reputation of this place by lying, evil and harmful criticism, but eventually will catch up with them. Never paid extra for curtido, nor have my food been cold; Of course, if they pick up the food an hour later, what do they expect, to be hot!!! JA JA JA! Trust me, the food is excellent, delicious, and fresh. The plantain rellenitos are delicious, their large pupusas and their maracuya, orchata and tamarind drinks are delicious, authentic; I can say that much better than being in El Salvador. I am not Salvadoran but Central American and I know how good this food is and I attest that I really enjoy this delicious food, no matter what you order, they are delicious, they are genuine and generous in the dishes. You will not go wrong to go there to enjoy such delicious food! I give it 5***** 100%

::Did not like it at all. Don't go there. You might really like it. Everyone has different opinions and tastes. So let me take that back. Try it for yourself's. Good Luck.

::Just came from here. Never had El Savadorian food, but had always driven past this restaurant and had wanted to try it. I love that area because it seems stuck in the '50s, with its worn down Mid Century Modern buildings etc, so it has a real, gritty feel to it. The minute I walked into the restaurant, I felt like I had stepped into a Latin American country: It was hot with only 2 ceiling fans, awesome music on the TV, many tables and great vibe. Told them I was from the motherland and needed something really hot and spicy. She recommended the Spicy Shrimp. I got that, plus a few Papusas. Everything was good, but the cheese and pork papusas were the best. Only wrong thing was that they gave me salad, when I had requested no salad and extra rice, but overall, the food was good and the staff, friendly. I would say go for the food, the ambience and the service!

::Had a Queso y Loroco & Revuelta pupusa. Pretty good with good balance of fillings. Only thing was the dough / masa was a bit bland and I thought could be a mix of masa and wheat flour? Love the Salvadoran Horchata made with morro. Nuttier than the typical Mexican type. Seemed family run. Grandpa-type guy did not speak English (only minor issue) and the female server who came a few minutes later was very nice.
