  Once you stomach the SMELL, it's ok. They have some oldies but goodies too! Stuff from the 60s

  Great little neighborhood store/butcher shop. Low prices and large selection of meats to choose. It’s located in area that’s finally getting updated. We didn’t notice the bad odor mentioned in other reviews but we did smell a mix of raw meats that is typical for a butcher shop.

  Great old fashioned butcher! Some produce and grocery items. Neighborhood shop! Great pricing on packages of beef, pork and chicken. Note, it very much smells like a butcher shop since the butchers cut the meat in front of you rather than in another room like the chain grocery stores. The hoop cheese is incredible and if you like Ribeyes, have them cut you a long rib roast instead of cutting it to steaks...that is my Christmas treat! They also often have fresh shelled peas, country ham and many other treats. They post their specials in the window on butcher paper so you know what to grab...the butcher shop smell will have you in and out quick if you're not used to it. Very much so recommend Larry's!
