::I called to cancel my auto and renters insurance as I am buying a home and got a much better deal with my homeowners insurance company. I called to ask that my auto draft from my bank account be cancelled and I was told it had drafted the night before. That would have been on 4/16/18 and per my agreement with state farm my account was not to be drafted prior to the 18th of the month. Also I asked that I be emailed a receipt and acknowledgement of my cancellation and refund to my account for premium and was told by the agent that there was nothing they could send me . Very unprofessional, all companies provide receipts and in this day of electronic everything they should be able to provide an acknowledgement of my conversation and their response immediately. I will follow up in person to get a receipt showing my bank account has been credited. Bad business State Farm. I would give them negative stars instead of one, but had to select star one in order to be allowed the post option.

::There is one women in the office Dulce who has always been polite. However there is another agent there that lied to my face. I was offered whole life insurance. I declined since I get it through my employer. When my policy came through I saw there was an additional charge for whole life. I asked my agent about it. He told me "oh, no.. it's free. It's listed as $29 but it's free" I let it go. Then caught it again and asked a different agent about it. He informed me that I was in fact paying for whole life insurance that I DID NOT want or need. I called and spoke with Larry. He assured me that I was paying extra and my discount I was getting for having didn't offset the $29/month. I was told "Come on in and we'll take care of you" I arrived at the agency. Was told that the agent who lied to my face TWICE was waiting for me. I went into his office and signed paperwork to cancel the policy that I never wanted and declined multiple times. When I called State Farm customer service to make a complaint it was confirmed that he did indeed lie to me. I disagree with that kind of business practice. I also didn't like that Larry, knowing that the agent lied to me, had me go into the office with that agent. He shut the door 'for my 'privacy'. I was very uncomfortable to be in that situation. I don't think Larry should of let that agent continue to do business with me after I expressed how upset I was for being lied to. To top it all off while I was signing my cancellation paper work he was STILL trying to sell me whole life insurance. I understand we all have goals to meet but it's disappointing that this agency accepts lying as a tactic. I have switched agents and I'm waiting for the paper work to go through. Honestly, although Dulce is super nice, I would avoid this agency altogether. I do feel as though State Farm is a great insurance company and found my rate was much lower than Progressive.

::I don't complain often but I will always get everything in writing when I go to make changes because of their lack of concern for others. I was out of 1000.00 in a hit and run. I don't understand why they did fix the issue and they didn't so I guess it was all my fault. All am saying is cover your butt. Good company
