::□ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant wasn't bad with a nice greeting. If you decide to eat here... be warned that most of the booth seats are not plus-size friendly. We did NOT fit. I suggest going to the very back next to the restroom to be able to sit & dine comfortably. □SERVICE: If you are sitting at the back, expect to be served a little later since the table placement isn't in the view of the service staff. □FOOD: It was all good. Check their menu for the daily specials (I don't remember what Lancers called it). ▪︎Pork Chop & Hamburger Steak ( I don't remember the other 2 foods). ▪︎Baby-back Ribs w/ Baked Potato: Meat was the fall of the bone. Baked Potato was slightly bland with choices of sour cream & butter. Mixed veggies were edible, but I didn't like it. ▪︎DRINKS: Irish Coffee, Tequila Mule, Mimosa

::Great old-school family diner in the old Burbank neighborhood. Service and food is good. Prices are fair. I usually come here for breakfast a few times a week now. I typically get the steak and eggs. I like the New York steak and three eggs over medium. It comes with hash browns and pancakes or toast. It's $23.99 and they give you a ton of food. The food is really good, a lot better than most diner places in town. Everything is fresh and made to order and served hot. They have a full bar and happy hour starts at 9:00 p.m. you can tell they have a very loyal crowd of people that come here because I've seen many of the same faces every time I've gone. They have a huge parking lot with plenty of parking including handicap parking. If you love diner food like me then Lancers is a really good option. Good food and fair prices.

::Used to love it here.....I would give them 2.5 but since there isn't a half, I'm being generous at 3. The good things, old time style restaurant where you feel like you stepped back in time. Plenty of parking. Huge menu. Attentive staff. The negatives- food is not that great. French Dip was like cardboard, dry leather. The Au Jus didn't help because it was tasteless. Do not order your burger well done unless you want it so burnt you can't bite into it or cut it. Roasted chicken dinner was 3 small pieces. The wing was so over cooked and shriveled up, there was no meat on it. Flip side, fish and chips was the saving dish of the night. I would recommend that.

::Found a lovely family cafe in Burbank! PLUS it’s in a mall with HUGE parking lot! The vibes inside is SUPER NICE. It feels so comfy and cozy. You can choose between bar and lounge seating. Menu is fab. There are breakfast, lunch and dinner, but you can order breakfast, for example, at noon, too. Plenty of dessert in the showcase fridge if you’re interested. Recommend: - breakfast burrito - eggs benedict - chocolate cake - oatmilk

::Been to this spot twice while waiting to go in to work. A nice, family friendly diner. The people here are nice. It's usually busy on weekends. I have had their Monte Cristo sandwich and the Texas scramble weekend eye opener. The monte cristo is a double decker sandwich with ham, turkey, swiss cheese, and powdered sugar on top of the toast. This sandwich is perfectly stacked and holds well while eating. The toast is nice and fluffy, which is hard to get with other places. A very delicious sandwich for anytime of the days. The Texas scramble is 3 scrambled eggs, topped with chili and cheese, served with hash browns and toast. The chili cheese eggs was a nice combo, very good and cheesy and paired perfectly with a nice toast. The hash browns was a disappointment as they were undercooked. With hash browns I look for that brown crisp look to it, but these were white as a ghost and not very appealing, nor was the taste. I will definitely frequent this spot again. I want to try the Cinnamon swirled honey nut french toast.
