  Great food. Great service. The desserts were excellent the omelet was light and fluffy. The foie gras was delicious as was the decomposted salad. I recommend this place!

  La Piquette is a very pleasant discovery. Real French fare in a lovely (if boisterous) setting. Don't go for conversation, DO go for the food! From the warm, fragrant, delicious bread to the perfectly seasoned and cooked seafood, to one of the few authentic duck confits I've tried. The desserts were the weakest part of the meal, but even they were pretty good. The service was slow on a busy night, but the wait staff was very nice. They like children and are comfortable having them in the restaurant though it seems like mostly an adult clientele (ie.definitely not a "family restaurant"). Overall a very good experience and the food is so good we will definitely be back!

  I've been here five times, always with my wife. It's already a romantic atmosphere. The food is quite good, and the ambiance and food remind me quite a bit of my time living in France, so there is a nostalgia component to my enjoyment. The food is quite good, and you can get good wine at reasonable price for DC. Very enjoyable for brunch.

  One of my favorites. I always go on the weekend or for some dinners. Brunch, fish and stake highly recommended. Their selection of dessert is good, usually I go for the apple tart. The service is very good and David is a great host. Today we have risotto and piperade, both were extremely Tasty! Juan and David are characterized by being friendly and attentive.
