Ordered online. Food was ok. The crepe la madeleine was cold and the portion laughable. Chicken Friand was delish. They were out of the dessert I wanted so she asked me if I wanted something different. I chose something that was a dollar and something less and I had to actually ask her for the difference to be refunded. Apparently she didn't know how and called over another worker who very clearly annoyed. I don't know if he was annoyed with me for wanting my money back or with her for not knowing how to do it. He handed me the money and walked off Well sorry sir it's mine and I'm not required to let you keep my change no matter the amount. Maybe he wanted it left as a tip but I don't tip on to go orders where I run in and grab my order and go right back out the door. There's no above and beyond service to tip for.

The food is alright at this place, I usually have no issues, except when I order pickup my orders are never ready on time: I recommend dining in. Wish they had more gluten free options, such as gluten free bread for the sandwiches, it would open the menu up by so much for me. Also, they don't start making the soup till 11am.

The spinach quiche was delicious. The strawberry salad was ok. Potato soup was ok. The preserves were delish. The creme Brule was soooo good and was the fruit parfait. Also bought 2 lemon mini tarts. I would have liked to have my choice of salad dressings.

This place was much more of an experience than I anticipated! I expected a simple bakery and café, but the interior is very atmospheric. The food is very good, though the horseradish mayonnaise on the sandwich somewhat overwhelmed the subtler flavors of the broth and cheese. I did not have to wait at all to order or be served. A stellar experience!
