::Awesome French pastries, try the almond croissant. They make good soups every day.

::Great coffee here and homemade french pastry too. What a great little place! I always take home some pastry and an eclair. Mmmm.

::The thing that really upset me was that first the guy putting the pastries into the bag is wearing gloves but then the bag is handed over to the lady that handles all the money and she doesn't wear glove but she's rooting around the bag to see what kind of pastries are inside. I ask her "shouldn't you be wearing gloves" and she says that she's not touching anything, which was total BS. She wasn't just looking inside, she was moving pastries around because there were 3 of them inside and the bottom one was obscured by the other 2. This happened approximately 2 weeks ago.

::Everything is so good and the staff is all very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend. I’ve been many times and will continue to frequent La Gourmandine!

::Excellent French bakery with coffee, breads, sandwiches, breakfast pastries & desserts. Love their almond croissant for breakfast & “La Montagnard” (baguette with butter, prosciutto, and little pickles) for lunch. Their baguettes and breads are made fresh daily, taste excellent and are cheaper than not-as-fresh grocery store loaves. I go out of my way to get to this bakery regularly, it’s a total hidden gem. Parking lot is small and can be difficult to turn in since it’s located right at a busy intersection in Mt Lebanon, but it’s totally worth while to stop in.
