::Good variety of equipment, calm set up. It's slightly different than the other LA fitness gyms in the phoenix metro area as far as it's rectangular rather than a square two story building. Clean as well

::They helped me to get results that I did not know I needed or wanted. The talented and so-likeable crew of trainers at this gym and the endless range of customized workouts that they craft for every client makes all difference. These guys perfectly balance the nutritional and fitness coaching, inspiration, encouragement!

::David/James/Brian is a master personal trainer at the gym, and he's wonderful. He's worked with my boyfriend for years and has helped him achieve certain goals during that time. I signed up a few months ago for the training, and while costly, if you put the time in he'll help and not waste your money. He knows what he's doing and has helped set up a personal workout plan per every three months. After which he changes it up to keep your body changing. During the time I've been working out with him I've seen my ability to lift heavier weights go up, my endurance has increased, and my pant size has gone down (was at 36/37 and now at 32/33 waist pant size). I highly recommend that you check the gym out and if ready to make a commitment hit up the guy with three first names.

::This fitness center provides more value for the price than any other that I have ever used! From Ricky and Paul in Sales to Britni, Kyle and Cody on the personal training side, EVERYONE I interacted with here was extremely personable and over-the-top with their fantastic customer service. At no point did anyone ever pressure me to purchase anything, they simply explained their services/prices and offered to answer any and all questions that I had. I ended up going with the $41/month plan that provides unlimited access to any AZ L.A. Fitness and up to two (free) guests each visit and later signed up for personal training. Unfortunately, I ended up having to cancel my personal training agreement due to unforeseen financial reasons. Britni actually called to check on me and make sure everything was okay, and then immediately processed the cancellation, within 5 minutes of the call. Fantastic service! If you live/work nearby and are interested in finding a club that truly cares about you and your health/ personal development, join this one!! You won’t regret it!

::CRAZY stuff about the lockers getting broken into--you mean they can't fix or purchase lockers that are safer? I originally wrote this review 3 years ago and nothing has changed! Every couple weeks there are 3-5 lockers in the Men's Locker Room broken into. In many cases they pry the door right off. Plus my biggest complaint about the whole chain is THEY DON'T RECYCLE PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES! Corporate Management said: "We obey local laws." REALLY? That's the best you have in 2015??? At the same time, they encourage members to sign up for online billing and payment because "it's good for the environment!" REALLY? Even the Pure Fitness locations they bought out and closed used to recycle plastic water bottles! Yeah, these guys at LA Fitness are "the best!" UPDATE: The men's locker room situation is a little better. Now, only on average ONE locker is broken into a week--usually by having the door ripped off. Maybe this is progress. Yet, I still don't understand why this problem can't be solved. It does not happen at other local branches! I mean, everyone has to clock in, and I assume a member discovers his locker was broken into within an hour of it happening. The gym KNOWS who were the people most likely there at that time. How hard could it be to identify a few people who were in the gym when multiple break-ins happened? Or, why not put a video camera right outside the men's locker room? That gives more information about who was in the locker room at any given time. This use of technology doesn't affect privacy in the locker room, and could be another step toward capturing the culprit(s).
