  Always able to use the equipment that i want. Men's locker room is NO LONGER carpeted. It is regularly cleaned and does not smell. Plenty of parking and room to do your thing. Staff mind their own business but are helpful when needed. I have never been pressured into paying for things i don't want or need.

  I’ve seen a lot of rough reviews and I would have to disagree with most of them. I’ve never had a problem with the cleanliness, service or crowding of this gym. Perhaps some people don’t like the racial diversity, but those aren’t the people I want to be sharing a space with anyway. It’s affordable, clean enough, pool is a good temp, group fitness rooms available when the classes aren’t going on, lots of cardio machines and staff is around to answer questions if needed. If you’re expecting to be treated like royalty, it’s probably not for you. If you like to work out and sweat like the rest of us, you’ll be just fine.

  I primarily use the LA Fitness in Uptown, Mpls for its convenience. The facility is too small for the amount of traffic it sees, so good luck using the cardio equipment without a wait. Not to mention how often equipment is scheduled for service due to overuse. The staff has a high turnover so I would not recommend signing up for a trainer if you rely on accountability and consistency.

  It's a gym. Nothing terrible, nothing special. Don't go just before or after work hours and it's fine.

  I'll use the gym because it's close and affordable, but I can't give them a good review at this point. The staff has been rude already on a few occasions and I'm a new member. The gym area seems fine and the ladies locker room is clean.
