  I use this gym all the time out of convenience and its pleasant but one of more run down LA's it's not as new looking or maintained as smithtown or centereach.

  The equipment is good. The bathrooms are clean. I really like this gym except one thing. The staff never reracks the weights! And they don’t enforce that others properly rack their weights. This makes it impossible to find lower pound weights. I struggle to find weights between 10 and 25 lbs. maybe it’s because they don’t have enough of them. Maybe it’s because no one puts the weights in the right spot. I would move things around if I could but I can’t lift a 75 lbs weight to get it in the right spot. Enforce the rules and make everyone happier!

  I used to belong to this gym for over a year and I loved this location. The only downside was around the holiday season traffic was so bad near Smith Haven Mall. Other than that I enjoyed my time here.

  When all said, out of all the LA Fitness gyms i go to, I find myself going to this one the most. If you are looking for an absolutely clean new gym, this one is not for you. But, if you are looking to get the most efficient weight training session Lake Grove is the best. Has many options to effectively hit any isolated muscle your targeting and plenty of space to do it. I also go to centereach and the newer one on 83 and find myself getting mad they dont have everything I need to get the most effective session. But they are clean.

  Every time If i want to get something done, I will contact their law department Sarah, because I made a complaint in 2015 to Attorney General's office, they send their head office a letter with a case number, at the end I got 15 days pass for a friend, that is what they premised for join membership in 2012 , and with their headquarters's apologized letter. they started to take my advice seriously, the only reason goes that far because the managers in Lake Grove ignored me like I am annoying, they didn't do their premised when I join the club since 2012. and it gets in my nerves. Good Morning Sarah, As a LA fitness member, we will have 15 days pass very 6 month for a friend or a family member. I haven't apply to it since July 7, 2016, see last email attached below. My daughter will be out Medical school for 2 weeks holiday during Feb, 2018. I am writing to you to get her free 15 days pass since I haven't apply since July 7, 2016. I called LA lake Grove this morning, no mangers can be reached. Sorry I have to bother you every time when I want to get things done. It looks like you are the only one can respond me. I can be reached at Cell or my office I look forward to hear from you. Thanks
