  Slightly tucked away, the menu is typically Mexican and the style is not fancy, but the food is very decent and flavourful. We had the fish set, which comes with an entire fish; fresh fried with rice, hot corn (or wheat if want) tortillas, the usual stuff.. beans, avocado and you can grab your own salsa, etc. as is the fashion in these parts. Can't go wrong food that is value for money in a humble neighbourhood that has charm and character.

  This is a hidden gem indeed! The outside is quite run down but the food is amazing! You can find beans on the bbq outside, available to eat at anytime for free. The fresh tortillas are to die for. The aromas alone will leave you wanting to taste more. Highly recommend this secret spot

  This place always hits the spot after a night in GasLamp. Right out of downtown area off imperial. Open til 3. Free Chips and salsa, free beans always on the grill nice and warm along with onion and chile. In a safe area cause it's across the street from the police station.

  This restaurant is the heart of the area!!! Great food, they care about the homeless and always share a hot big cup of beans. They treat everyone with the same respect whether your a professional, home maker, military police officer, struggling or homeless!! I love this place and wish every community had a place like this.. every night I have been there (which is more times then I can count and I'm not from the area) they have music on, it's all about families, laughter, helping, feeding and providing a community atmosphere!!!
