  I just wanted to let you all know that you might thing that you are supporting a really cool place, but their practices in hiring are pretty messed up and discriminatory, to say the least. I did a great job as a sampler and brought a lot of people into the store, but after asking them repeatedly if I was coming back, they have not even responded. I was chastised after the interview for being great with people and knowing how to talk to them. I would not support a place that treats their potential employees this way. I am 45. They wanted someone younger. Not right. But to not even have the courtesy to respond to me is disgusting.

  Bought a tiny jar of truffle salt, for what seemed like a lot of money. Three years later, we're still using the same small container, and it is great stuff. It can make a TV dinner taste like an expensive meal.

  Love sitting here for wine and food tastings. The staff really know their craft and take care of their customer. I've had them ship items to me and they know how to treat their products.

  This is my favorite place in Pike Place! Go in and try the truffle samples. Every staff member is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure you also do a wine tasting - the wine they select for their cafe is excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. If Valerie is there, your wine tasting will be a blast. She is really knowledgeable about the different wines and super fun!
