  I would give it a negative rating if I could. I have eaten here maybe 2-4 times and not once have I felt like it was worth it. The food, the service and price are all below par. Once you walk in either the employees try to ignore you or finally when they do ask for what I would like it's like they are doing me a favor and still have this look of disgust "ugh". I would rather starve. I have eaten at blue smoke and shake shack and they are much better value for the money. The food itself is nothing to rave about at la brea bakery. A small deli sandesh can cost about $12-14 and comes with no sides. Avoid it at all cost if you can.

  Holy Smokes!! THE APPLES ARE A LIE!! Paid $75 for the most mediocre meal on the whole trip to NYC. Over priced food, slow and grumpy service, and in my mother’s own words, “the worst $75 I’ve ever spent.” After feeding a family of 4. Worst of all, the apples looked so red and tasty, but were all rotten and sad and yucky on the inside. Skip it.

  It's odd that they serve $4 ice coffee and have never even heard of simple syrup. Instead I was handed 5 packets of honey.. Below average customer service from what seemed to be the manager. Flabbergasted at the lack of basic human decency, even for NYC.

  All aspects of service are pretty terrible here - you could get faster AND friendlier service replacing the whole process with machines. Even for airport food in NYC it was expensive and average tasting.
