  4 ⭐ mid-range cafe. Better than average on most fronts (coffee, breakfast/lunch, baked goods).. but a shadow of what it used to be (neglected fittings, bathroom, service, food, crockery). An MBA got hold of someone's passion?

  This is a so so light eats place with good outside seating. Food is ok, prices are high, and the menu is limited. Honestly there are much more compelling and good value places nearby..

  This place simply keeps going downhill. The staff is changing on a daily basis and they have no clue how anything works. Sad, such a good concept and such bad service.

  Id give it a lower rating if possible. Everything sucks. Food coffee service, waaayyyy overpriced. Do not come here youll be sorry you wasted your hard earned money.

  What's happening to La Boulangerie? It used to be my favorite cafe anywhere. I don't know about other locations in other towns, but this first Sutter St. on downtown closed a couple of years ago, and now this Noe St. location looks as it won't last for much longer either. The place looks stripped of all the charm and warmth it used to have. Abundant in the past, display of delicious pastries of now looks scarce. No more seductive, vibrant with fruit, tartines. All I see are basically mini baguettes. I came here today specifically for smoked salmon brioche sandwich. They are out of smoked salmon! Coffee is served in paper cups, although I am eating in. Where did those amusing coffee bowl go? Tuna melt and I are both sad.
