La Boulangerie simply makes the best bread in town. The pastries are absolutely delicious and authentic too but the baguettes are perfect.

I loved this quaint little place! Was the perfect stop for a quick break and brunch while downtown. I had a chocolate eclair which was tasty and indulgent. I also ordered the ham and cheese croissant. Let me tell you, that thing was DELICIOUS! Guys, it was so good. Flaky and buttery, OMG! Very tasty and would definitely recommend. If I'm in the area, I'll probably stop by again. It's not cheap, but it's quality and fresh. Might not be the place to go if you're avoiding butter, eggs, or pastry though. They also serve hot and cold drinks. It has a cute vibe inside too. Neat little French gem!

My breakfast experience was pure delight. After a long conference, the subtle ambiance, relaxed seating, and delightful bites were a welcome escape from the humdrum that is business travel. The pastries were light, flaky, perfectly portioned...exactly as one would expect of a French bakery. Quiche is flavorful. To sum my visit, perfection. La Boulangerie is now my San Antonio staple.

Great baked goods and decent (albeit tiny portions) breakfast in a Quaint setting in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Mediocre service with counter/cafe style order placement. The menu descriptions are limited, so unless you ask about the offerings with foreign names, ordering is a little like shooting in the dark. The coffee complements are also somewhat limited. There is an authentic French feel (which is nice) and the prices are remiscient of Paris (which is not so nice). All in all, this is a nice place to visit, but when you leave both your wallet and stomach will feel a little empty.

This is a great little spot for that light breakfast we all need from time to time. Their quiches are fantastic. The coffee is great. Only reason I took off a star is because the prices are a little high.
