  La Bou by the Zoo is the perfect neighborhood gathering spot! Great pastries, colorful and friendly atmosphere, excellent location.

  Great example of a local Cafe spot, with some fantastic simple fare items. They always seem to have great service, and quality food and drinks La Bou is one of these places I didn't chair too often, when I lived in the area. But, they've become a frequent stop when I'm visiting, because it really reminds me of the quality stuff I can get whenever I'm in Sacramento.

  Asked for a baguette to go and they gave me a whole bag of rocks. That bread was so stale and hard. Didnt realise it until i got home. So disappointed. So make sure if you're going to THIS La Bou to ask for A FRESH baguette. Ive never had a hard stale bagguette from any other La Bou. My first time coming to this one. Dont wanna go back.

  Soup was excellent. Took my salad to go. They gave me the wrong salad but I should have checked. The girl at the register could have been a ,little more friendly.
