  The French onion soup is the best! Their price fix special is great - soup, salad, wine and desert. We go here whenever my family comes in town. A true NYC institution.

  Have been going here for over 40 years. Still as good as it was years ago. Soups are wonderful and the fish was excellent. Creme caramel was better than ever.

  I've worked in midtown for a few years now and this is my favorite place to eat in the entire city. Lovely staff, you can have a quick lunch or dinner before a show, or you can linger. The croque monsieur is my favorite. And they have perfect shoe string fries. Also, the chocolate mousse is so good.

  It was a snowy day in New York. Central Park was beautiful with it's snow-covered trees. But with the snow comes a chill. My wife wanted soup - specifically French onion. A quick Google search turned up a few places, but with a name like La Bonne Soupe, how could we Not go here for French onion. And boy were we glad we did - it was so tasty and exactly what my wife wanted...which led to me getting what I wanted later that night 😉
