::I have only worked with L. Richards Plumbing & Heating once. They gave me a new water main and tap, a U trap and fresh air inlet. The work was really good and they worked quickly. Mr. Richards was on site quite a few times to check on the quality of the work. They did everything in 2 days. As far as the work they put in it was 5 stars but the clean up wasn't. I don't really have a big issue with what wasn't done but had I have known I would've negotiated with him more. Make sure to deal directly with Mr. Richards when negotiating the contract and the cost of the job.

::We decided to go with Len upon a friends recommendation but was sorely disappointed. During our home renovation we switched to a new heating system with new baseboards for the entire home and thought we could count on Len. Just a few months after installation, there were loud disruptive noises whenever our heating was turned on (cranking and mild hammering). We called Len to check on our system and did not receive prompt service. We've decided to just live with the noise. Just yesterday, during the coldest day of the year (2/15&2/16 - temperatures were single digits) our heating system shut down entirely. Our system is under warranty and while we called Len for help he didn't get back to us until hours later. He eventually called another staff Jeff who was much more amenable to helping us, but was still unable to come to our house the next day, or the DAY AFTER, despite multiple calls. We have since decided to switch to a different company who was able to assess our heating problem over the phone immediately. Lesson learned: you won't be able to count on Len for prompt service.
