::Really frustrated. We were quoted for 25 minutes for a party of 5 and waited for over an hour, we were told “there’s one table ahead of you it will be a little bit” and the hostesses proceeded to sit at least three tables of a similar size. We waited another forty minutes for a table. We had asked the hostess many times for an update but her response was always, “it will be just a little bit.” When we asked to see a manager she was rude and told us we should have “asked for an updated wait time” and then proceeded to raise her voice and talk down to us. The manager was horrible, unhelpful and essentially told us that it was our fault because we didn’t want to sit at the burger bar where we could not talk to each other. Coming from out of town to this highly suggested restaurant as a way to catch up with family was a let down. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business for years, along with 3 other members of the party of 5, I understand that that is how everyone wants to react to people they perceive as being rude, but that is not an acceptable way to treat customers. We were not being rude or obstructive, we simply wanted to know why there was such a discrepancy in what we were quoted and what we actually waited. Our server Brittany was phenomenal and very quick, which is fantastic because I was worried we would be neglected due to our complaints at the beginning. She worked her butt off to try to ensure we had a wonderful experience, but the manager never apologized for the wait or her behavior, and did nothing to try to fix our experience. She has soured us to Kuma’s and will not be returning.

::Amazing! The led zeppelin is amazing! Mac and cheese amazing. The staff is so nice! If you think to yourself ugh a metal bar. No, the food alone is worth a try and again the nicest wait staff in Indianapolis. My husband would love to see a kuma tenderloin. It would be monstrous!

::First time I went to Kuma's Corner I admittedly had a little bit to drink. The food and the place overall was fantastic. The second time I went I took my wife and baby on a weekday afternoon. The food and the atmosphere were just a good...if not better. They had a lunch portion size of their burgers which was much appreciated. Our server was on point and the beer selections were varied. The best part was being able to bring our kid. In Indiana so many places are unable to allow children and as a new parent that can be quite disheartening. This place is now on my social speed dial when asked where to go for a good meal/experience.

::Kuma's corner is amazing. Hands down this is my favorite place to get a burger. Best burgers in town. Everything you order is super consistent and cooked properly. They have a very extensive beer selection and the bar is pretty well stocked. They keep the menu fresh with a burger of the month. Also their Mac and cheese is delicious.

::I had been wanting to try this place out for the longest and I finally made it in last night! The layout is super cool, real chill vibe in the place. Our server Nick was great, but the food not so much. We ordered jalapeno poppers for an appetizer, super bland. They come with like a jalapeno jam, the jam is great, it's really the only thing that makes the poppers worth eating. I'm thinking, I hope they don't drop the ball on the burgers.....they did. The first thing that threw me off was that all of their burgers ONLY come on pretzel buns, I'm not the biggest pretzel bun guy, but if the burger's good the burger is good. I ordered the Iron Maiden because I LOVE avocado. The burger came, it wasn't very tender at all and the avocado was hard as a rock, I had to just pull it off the burger completely. I tried cutting the burger in half because they're pretty big, it was a struggle doing that since it wasn't very soft/tender. The house made ketchup is pretty good though. Let's just say we only got a to go box for the fries, which are FLAME. Real cool place, but they need a taste tester with some taste buds before they put stuff on the menu.
