::Krisp is a unique little market/grocery store located downtown San Diego/East Village area. Krisp has a natural market feel to it and offer much more then your normal shop. They act as a grocery store, liquor store and pizza shop all at reasonable prices. I haven't had the pizza but rumor is its some of the best in San Diego.

::I would appreciate it if I wasn't singled out every time I walk in this store. On several occasions the employees have made me feel extremely uncomfortable shopping there. I don't know what it is, but judging me like I'm going to steal something or get over on the cashier...it's not good for business. I literally live 5 min away, but prefer to go to the one downtown, because the creep and judgmental radar is pretty low there. I have recently seen the attempt to have a board up for customers to post nice things to say. That's a start. Nice way to bring good morale back into the shopping experience. Also, I can never buy breads or desserts here because they expire quick or they are already expired and have mold on them. The prices for most of the frozen foods are high, I get that business is business. Maybe if people felt more comfortable shopping here, they wouldn't mind spending the extra dollars.I

::I've been here several times, it's within walking distance from my little apartment in Golden Hills. They have a very good variety of things a person might need ifya didn't wanna drive anywhere. Really good meat section & veggies section too, oh the liquor section can't forget about that either. A very shopable store for a mom & pop place thanks for being in the neighborhood guys. Good food prices are kinda pricey but it's the convenience that counts.

::Although items can be a little pricey, this little market has a great selection of healthy food options as well as the standard cheaper foods you find in larger grocery stores. They also have an amazing wine selection. Great little neighborhood market.
