::Staff was very friendly and helpful. Too many old trailers, people living there. Dog runs we're in bad shape. Lots are tight.

::I found it somewhat difficult to rate this park. There were some things that they had no control over such as my next door neighbor slamming doors at 5:30 in the morning. Other things such as the neighbor across the street (long term resident) having his car up on stands while he works on it is a clear violation of their rules. Nobody told him to stop even though security came by several times. The garbage truck emptying the dumpsters at 6:30 in the morning is not necessary. You have to drive over a high curb to get into your site. These things the park does have control over. Not so sure about the park electrical voltage. My surge protector kept me from using electric for the first 24 hours. The park voltage was 135 volts. After calls to Chris (park manager), he said that we were the first row where the power came into the park and the city told them there was nothing they could do. He offered to move us to another site but our schedule didn't allow us to take the time. The park is in the middle of the city so traffic and emergency vehicle noises were expected. This park wouldn't have been our first choice because we like to be in a more rural environment but it was NASCAR weekend (we didn't know that when we were making reservations) so we couldn't be too selective. All in all the park is (relatively) close to things in the city but you sacrifice some things. We never felt uncomfortable with our surroundings and never saw strangers that shouldn't be there.

::We have a Value card and stay at KOA as much as possible because we know what to expect. We expect poor or no cable and lousy or no WiFi. Our stay at 4040 S Nellie Blvd did not disappoint. Never could log on to WiFi. And we lost electricity 4 times that I noticed. Short outages but still had to reset some things. I would like to see KOA mandate some upgrades from the owners, especially WiFi. We didn’t use their facilities at all just to stay out of common areas. There’s a large coin laundry right next door which worked well for us on bed linen change day. We had 7 washers. We have always stayed at KOA for their pet policy. We used to travel with 7 Scotties in the early days. Always welcomed us. Down to one Teacup Maltese now.

::Nice and clean amenities, nice staff. The parks are dense but it's in town. Close to some cool places and not to far from the strip. There is a shuttle from the Casino to busier places in town. Couldn't try to pool, off season...

::I lived here full time and my husband, son, and myself love it. The people who live here and the others that park here for the weekend are always amazing. My son loves the pool. I love the showers. The staff is helpful and friendly. They have security that patrols the place 24 hours.
