  I first came to Dr. Knowles-Fenning with a serious gum infection. She handled the situation masterfully, explaining every step of the procedure and minimizing pain as much as possible. I knew right away I had chosen the perfect periodontist. I have been back several times and have consistently been very satisfied with the treatment I have received. She is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I have been told I am extremely sensitive to pain, but Dr. Knowles-Fenning did everything possible to make me comfortable, even though it took more time than it normally would. She schedules appointments to ensure each patient has the time needed to handle any situation. Further, the office runs professionally and punctually, mindful of its patients’ busy schedules. Also the office is very helpful in handling insurance issues. They contact the insurance company to resolve any questions and promptly get back to the patient with the information. While no one wants to go to a periodontist, Dr. Knowles-Fenning makes the experience as positive and pain-free as possible. I highly recommend her.
