  I OWN THE CEMETERY AND HAVE KEPT IT UP FOR 61 YEARS I AM PROUD OF ITS HISTORY BUT SURPRISED THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT IT. I LET PEOPLE IN IF THEY ARE TRULY INTERESTED. I AM NOT A LAWRENCE I PAY FOR ITS UPKEEP MYSELF.

  Participated in a stirring Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery several years ago. Wonderful historical landmark right here in Astoria. Here are some moments from the ceremony.

  My husband and I were cycling around Astoria when we happened upon this ... the owner happened to be outside and chatted with us about its history etc. What a lovely man, he owns and maintains this 1703 historic cemetery on his own time and dime. Well worth a stop by

  The plot is run by the loveliest couple. They keep the property clean and fresh and always decorate beautifully for the holidays.
