::Good place - good food menu - service is nice ! We recommend it ! All plates, from appetizers to dessert, are well cooked and taste is very good ! Salad with nice dressing, can be shared. All plates were delicious. Dessert was a good way to close this dinner. Interesting wine list as well ! We left full and happy !

::It’s rare when I love everything I order…. I ended up ordering the seven hills chefs cut of beef and the key lime pound cake. I devoured everything and even ordered some blue cheese potato purée to go. I would go back to the restaurant for the potato purée alone.

::Sunday breakfast was delicious. That smothered chicken and biscuit with eggs was down right magical. It tasted like Thanksgiving for breakfast. Deviled eggs was good and the pancakes was extra fluffy.

::They do not have draft beer. System is there, but not working. Service was very slow at the bar. They were more interested in talking to people than filling drinks. We ordered a cheese plate and scallops and grits. It took over an hour and food never came. The order was never put in the system. They gave us some free drinks to make up for it. I may go back, but this was not a great experience.

::In old town Alexandria so street parking available. It was a cute place and wish we could have done the Winter Wonderland Igloo experience. Overrall, decent food but a little pricey. Service was also alright. Took some time for us to get our drinks and for things to be cleared from the table and when we asked for recommendations or opinions, we didn't get too much of a helpful response. I had asked whether we should get the grits or the oysters and our server just indicated that the oysters are raw so if we didn't like that, the grits were the way to go. Similar with the dessert on whether the fig Cobbler would be best or the deconstructed Blueberry crumble. Our server just indicated that figs were the main star of the dish so if we didn't like figs, we should go with the crumble. We started with an order of mulled wine and the Smashed & Spiked cocktail. Both were really good but I loved the mulled wine. We ordered the Scallop & Grits for the appetizer which was well made and had great flavors. For our dinner, I ordered the Seven Hills Dry Aged Ribeye and my boyfriend ordered the Local Duck Breast. Although both were well cooked, I felt the dishes were a little underwhelming for the price and not very filling. We ended up ordering dessert ~ Chocolate Peanut Butter Bacon Bar and the Seasonal Fig Cobbler. Both were alright but I did enjoy the ginger ice cream on top. I think coming here for drinks is a good idea as there is decent bar seating.
