::Decent museum with plenty to see that's free. For specific exhibits, you'll need to buy a ticket to get in. Typical of many museums, there is a restaurant and gift shops around. The staff (including guards) are kind, informative, and helpful. Parking is available in an underneath garage. Be sure to note that there are multiple buildings to this museum within walking distance. Both have free visiting areas. Be sure to make note of the flash photography rules or no photography works. I had to do an assignment at this museum so it was surprising to find myself having a good time and seeing works from over 2000 years ago. Enjoy!

::What a wonderful place! Innovative in design and presentation, thoughtful in programs and services, the Kimbell is simply a wonderful slice of life. Their permanent exhibits of Asian art are fantastic and their "Marquee" presentations are luminously stunning. This museum is definitely worth your time and effort to visit.

::Kimbell Art Museum is a great place to explore and bonus: it's free (with the exception of some exhibits). Parking is easy, staff are very friendly, and the layout is clean and appealing. A feature I didn't know about until recently was the children's playroom in the piano pavilion. It has a felt fabric wall, tons of books, blocks, and fun colored carpet squares. It's also very clean and they provide sanitizing wipes. The only downside for very little ones is that the glass walls can look too clean and they'll just walk right into them. On Saturdays they have a free art class for up to 20 kids. Overall, Kimbell is a great museum and I love that it's free!

::I visited today for the family festival and all the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The activities were wonderful; my kids were so entertained and super excited about face painting. They had at least six artists on site so there was no wait at all! We'd usually visit during the summer because they have a special room with lots of toys, puzzles, and books, so it's a great place to go to avoid the summer temperatures. The museum is free and has tons of parking around it. We enjoy this museum so much!

::They have a lot of beautiful art pieces. It's free to all unless you are looking to attend a special art exhibit. I recommend this museum to anyone who loves art and wants to learn more about different pieces. They have different pieces from different areas and different times periods. I enjoyed the pieces from 400AD and so on. There are some pieces I found interesting because of the way they were painted. But definitely take your family to this art museum and enjoy the beauty
