::They charged me $6.50 to withdraw money using my venmo card. Highway robbery. Also when i had an account there they had bad customer service.

::Lately banks have been very strange about breaking U.S. currency into different denominations (*sigh*, can you say coin shortage 2020/21?) but when I used the drive up teller at this location they were prompt and made no fuss about doing it for me. I realize holding a $100 bill can feel like caché for some, but it's not very useful in most cash based transactions. I think if I had to choose a large bank, Key seems to still acknowledge the average human being / customer as a market, rather than refocusing on deep relationships only for those with deep pockets. I do wish they'd allow their parking lot to be used for other businesses after hours, but there is probably some liability reason they will not. Most other downtown Beaverton banks do not, either.

::Private information breach! While in for a transaction the teller couldn't handle, they had me sit at a personal banker's desk while they looked for the manager's card. They sat me down and walked away. On the desk was a copy of another account holders driver's license, and account paperwork. This is wildly unsafe, and not compliant with any banking regulation or financial institution. I would never bank at this branch and feel my information was safe.

::My husband I applied for a home equity loan. Our credit is fantastic, we have the equity, there are really no issues except that our loan representative (Christian Vasquez) was highly disorganized and unprofessional. I had to practically harass him to get a return phone call and actually tell him how to proceed with certain parts of processing the loan because he was clueless. It was absurd. He thought it was perfectly acceptable to just ignore me for 2 weeks while he was waiting for an answer instead of just telling me a status update. He actually said he didn't realize this would be considered rude and unprofessional. I finally asked a teller to have the manager call me to see if someone else could handle the loan and he never even bothered to call me back. Real great customer service there. There were times when I called during the day and would get a message saying no one was available at the branch. I find that completely unacceptable. We decided to go with Rivermark instead and are supremely happy with our choice. Not worth the low rates to have the terrible experience.

::Just astoundingly uncooperative and unhelpful. Reminded me why I closed my Key Bank account years ago. They convinced me to open a business account there. Then once I agreed to they tell me the check I'm about to deposit from my customer (which, the check is local and ALSO written on a Key Bank check) won't have funds available right away. They say that there's always 24 hr hold on ANY deposit, even if it is a check from their bank and even though they've deducted the funds from that other person's account already. Friggin ridiculous policy. So I left and won't be coming back. Poor policies and a real lack of customer service. I'm not totally in love with BofA, but at least they give me immediate credit for any checks written on a BofA account and immediate credit for all other checks I deposit too, except really large checks. Can't believe Key Bank's policies are so stringent. Really poor way to do business.
