  I davened there once while staying for Shabbos in DC. The family whose house I was staying at, as well as the larger community, were very nice and interesting. The Shul itself is beautiful and historic, and they have a good Kiddush. I have only good things to say.

  We have moved from D.C. now but I am grateful to Kesher Israel. All my times there were very meaningful, and it is a great community with wonderful, caring people.

  I am not unbiased, but this is 29th year coming to the schul. Lots of spirit, lots of openness, and you know you are contributing so much to Jewish life downtown.
