Such a great wine list with interesting finds and unique twists. Staff is knowledgeable AND friendly. Get a tasting with charcuterie or buy a couple bottles to go!

Great staff, good selection of wines. Love the location and the open patio when the weather is nice. There is a huge fireplace out on the patio too, which can be opened or closed. Good place for get togethers, parties or showers. On a Saturday just go and hang out and relax. the food is ok.

I went to Kent & Co. Wines on Sunday, January 14 with a few friends on vacation. We ordered 2 bottles of wine (2012 Gruner Veltliner- Laurenz V 'Friendly') which was priced on the menu at $22 per bottle. It was not until after the second bottle of wine was open that we noticed the bottles we had received were not what we ordered. We received 2016 Weingut Knoll Loibner Groner Veltliner instead. When the bill came, they charged us $40 per bottle (nearly double the price of the wine we originally ordered). We inquired about the pricing and they said that because they were out of the wine we ordered, they substituted for something else that was similar. However, the pricing was not similar and we were not informed of the alternate pricing until it showed on our bill. We spoke to the managers about the issue and they said the waiter should've informed us that they didn't have the other wine in stock and the alternative would be double the price of the original wine we ordered. We were very disappointed in the customer service we received and it is alarming that a company can substitute products without letting the consumer know and then charge them a higher price even though the wine was considered comparable.

Everything you should expect from a great wine bar. All of the staff are educated and attentive. They have a wide variety of very good wines that you have never tried at competitive market prices. The seating here is just cozy enough to keep you next to the fire in the cooler months and as comfortable as home when the walls are open and the breeze is blowing.

My wife arrived last Friday on our date night about 6, the guy at the front door didn’t even look at us, just said, sit anywhere. There were 3 or 4 two-tops. One was next to stacks of boxes (wine, I’m guessing)rendering one that sort of warehouse feel. The next 2 top had someone ‘s cell phone charging on one of the chairs, also not super inviting. Then our eyes landed a couple of leather chairs at a small table with a large party of 12 seated about 7 or 8 feet away. After 3 or 4 minutes, a young African-American guy came by with waters and menus. The only memorable thing he said was, I’m not sure if the party next to will like you sitting here, but we’ll see. He then walks away. My wife and I were pretty shocked. I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my life. Even if it were a potential issue for us sitting there, I can think of many other ways to handle the situation. To add insult to insult, the guy did not return to take our order for 15 minutes, so we left, disgusted, more than anything... to whom it may concern, you are not running a highly complex operation, the business model is simple. Serve great wine. But you may want to raise the standard on either training the servers and hosts/hostesses that you have or get new ones.
