::Cleanest bathrooms Ive seen out of all the parks Ive been to. Beautiful scenery! Different activities to do there hike, fish, playgrounds for the kids and good place to make a barbecue.

::This is a great place for families to spend the day. There's a pond and stream area that the kids like to walk around as even fish in for those not faint of heart. The front area facing the Hollywood hills has a few hiking and trail running paths that have stunning views of the city. The top of the park has a large open field with tons of space to play in. There's even a couple of areas with play structures for smaller kids and their families. It can get crowded during the weekends and you have to pay $6/car for parking then but it's free on the weekdays.

::I've driven past this park 100 times. Today the traffic on La Cienega was more stop than go, so I decided to take a little detour. And I'm glad I did. What a big, beautiful park. A woodsy oasis in the middle of the middle of LA. You can stroll paved walks, hike miles of groomed trails, climb (or drive up) hills for great views across the city to the Hollywood Hills. There are babbling brooks spilling over little waterfalls into serene ponds and lakes. Playgrounds and picnic areas are clean and well maintained. There is a large visitors center that looks worth a visit. There is an entry fee on weekends, but it's free during the week. Los Angeles, you can still surprise me!

::Scenic views of Downtown K Town Hollywood Beverly Hills and clear to the Pacific Ocean. Such serenity and peace... especially at the top. There are several playgrounds for the kiddos and picnic areas for that family cook out. Also nice water features and plenty of hiking trails ranging from casual to intense. Alone as a couple or in a group I'd highly recommend it. Can't wait for the weather to warm up some.

::Kenneth Hahn is a beautiful park and a lovely natural getaway within the city. Don't forget to bring $6 cash if you go on the weekends. We have hosted a baby shower here in the past and rented one of the shelters with tables. You are not allowed to tape anything to the walls, but we managed by tying things to the pillars. It was lovely. My husband and I also like to come here just to stroll, see the birds, and enjoy the little ponds. Last weekend we had a picnic on the grass and then walked around the Japanese Gardens. After all the rain we've had, the green grass the the blooming flowers were so pretty! The kids at the park enjoyed looking for turtles, watching the ducks, and going fishing. We also saw this weird guinea hen hanging out. Great place to take kids, a loved one, or just yourself.
