  Very Clean And basic, or simple. Very dark at nite is a place you dont need to worry about bears

  I really enjoyed this place. We went in the middle of the week so campground was pretty quiet an empty. The ranger did warn us about the raccoons ahead of time, so we made sure to secure all our food. My favorite part was exploring at night when nobody else was in the park! Quick walk to the beach during full moon was simply amazing. And then we drove up to the north beach and could see the NYC skyline light up. Only negative is the drive through NJ to get there! Hope to come back again some day. Wish I would have had more time, but we were there for just 2 nights.

  Great location but the amount of garbage in the bushes is disgusting.

  I loved staying here! It was so quaint and quiet and there was plenty of space at our site. I also loved that it wasn't a tourist-y area. It's a perfect place for a couples getaway. The only thing I didn't like was that there were not showers and we had to take quite a few trips to bring our stuff into the site as it was close to a quarter mile away from the parking lot. There were wagons available, which was nice, however some were locked up in the morning when we needed them to pack up and check out. If you pick a spot closer to the parking lot, this obviously isn't an issue. We didn't mind too much because the place is just so nice! There is a water spigot and there are showers at the beach, just not on the site. We couldn't stop talking about how much we liked it here and we will definitely be coming back soon!
