::Sprawling contemporary sushi joint with a back bar that has trendy furnishings meant to dissuade you from sticking around long. (Women's) Bathroom is a confusing exit from the restaurant into a shared back hallway and an old elevator to the basement to a strange lime green and floral space, but was cleaner than I anticipated given the strange journey there. Wings were flavored interestingly though very salty and chewy like they'd been hanging around a bit. California roll was solid. We did not eat in the main restaurant and had just stopped in for drinks and apps.

::Punctual wait staff, tasty dishes and cocktails. A good environment with nice aesthetics. A nice music selection to, if you're into Kendrick and J Cole that is.

::Went for late night sushi with a friend after a bit of bar hopping around OTR. Sushi was good and still fairly busy for after 10. Only odd thing is the restrooms and down on the basement floor and are a bit creepy going down an elevator with no one else around. Took off one star because I think the facilities could be improved in this area.

::Experience was less than stellar. I went here because my boyfriend and I have a 10% off card because of his new apartment and decided to go. I’ve heard a lot about this place (good and bad) and that Saturday is half off sushi so I decided to come here. I ordered wine, a seaweed salad, and three 10pc rolls. The sushi all tasted the same. The tempura rolls were tiny and nothing special. The seaweed salad was also VERY oily. I ate two bites of the salad and 5 pieces of sushi and was completely disappointed. I get the check and half off was not applied. So I spent almost $100 for an uneventful, disgusting sushi place. I just hope my cat has low enough standards to eat what’s left.

::Not the Kaze it once was. 1st impressions mean a lot. The hostess literally stared at us for about 5 to 10 seconds without saying a word when we walked up to the stand. I asked if she had room for 4? Still said nothing Led us to a table. May have muttered a word or two...not sure. Don't think she wanted to be there. That made 5 of us. The server wasn't a whole lot better. Did not get the impression anyone enjoyed their job. Food was good but not good enough to put up with poor service again.
