::The stunning lack of good bagels in San Francisco is real. Katz is a fine bagel, for San Francisco, but unfortunately that means by any reasonable standards, it's a bad bagel.

::Walking Distance. Stroll on a sunny morning in the Mission and just get what you wish for - one fine Bagel!
Alex Garcia
::Great bagels and spreads at an affordable price. Really liked the honey date spread.

::Good bagels. I got a garlic one with lox, tomato, and cream cheese. The bagel was a little flat but tasty. It was also very fast. The only complaint I have is cost; my breakfast sandwich was $8.50--the same thing would be at most 6 in New York. San Francisco prices, I guess? Also, while I was there, a homeless man ran in and stole the tips out of the tip jar.

::I came to check this place out and although it doesn't compare to NYC bagels, it's still very good. There was a line when I arrived but it moved quickly. There's limited seating and it's cash only so be prepared in advance. The chai lattes were pretty bad so I would recommend going elsewhere for that. Overall a good spot to stop for a bagel
