  The people giving one stars are being a bit ridiculous. Why do you shop? For good looking clothes at a decent price. Check and check! Returns are always accepted within the time specified. Like any business, if you go on a busy day you might not get as much attention as usual, but I'm not moving in so that doesn't phase me. Clothes are on trend and great quality for unbelievable prices.

  On more than one occasion I've walked in and didn't even have my existence acknowledged. No "hello" or "hi, how are you?". The employees are always too busy having conversations with one another. They don't even look up to smile. To top it all off their clothes are tacky & poorly made. Don't waste your time.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! On December 30, 2017 I went to Menlo Park Mall located in New Jersey and made two purchases at KARA. Unfortunately the dress I purchased did not fit, so I decided to return it. On January 13, 2018 I went to the Staten Island mall in New York and tried to return the dress. The cashier told me that I could not make a return because it was past January 7, 2018. I explained to her the receipt says exchanges or returns for store credit may be made until January 7, 2018, however, I do not want store credit I would like my cash back. Two other employees then jumped in on the conversation and said they do not except returns, stating it was not them who did not want to make the return it is the store policy. I asked for a corporate number because I have never heard such a thing and they would not provide me with a number. Instead, they gave me this email address and told me to send a picture with my receipt there. I emailed the email address provided and recieved no response. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERICE. I AM A COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.

  I love Kara! I've shopped at this store every time I've gone to the mall since they've opened, and it doesn't feel right to leave the mall without stopping by first. Kara quality is average for indie designer clothing, meaning better than fast-fashion, but not the highest quality (though there are some winners in the store). The reason I love Kara so much is that the store is full of amazing clothes in a variety of styles. There will always be something that appeals to you, regardless of your personal style. And with most pieces being from 10-30 dollars, it's an affordable place to get a show-stopping statement item. You can essentially get ready for NYFW in this store alone. I haven't gone to Kara without buying something, and to this day there is no piece I regret buying from the store. Be warned, however, that there is a no return, no exchange policy at the time of writing. There's usually no line, so take the time to try stuff on before impulse buying.

  I always find something nice to wear in this store. Great variety!
