  This is a Hindu temple. It is named after the Kali goddess. Mostly famous with the Bengals. The interior has got very good decoration. There are idols of Ma Kali, Godess Durga, Sarswati and Lakshmi. And that of Lord Shiva, God Ganesh and Karthik and few more. Most of the idols are made of white marvel rock. We happened to visit on the Durga Astami of 2017. The environment inside the temple was very holy. You will get a very pleasant and calm feeling. There was arrangement for dinner(fully vegetarian) and also some cultural events. The organizers did a very good job. It's a must visit place for Hindus staying in New York.
