::I did not have the opportunity to visit this establishment however I did call to inquire about a yelp review that was left by a previous reviewer regarding the owner denying them access to the establishment with a service dog. Today I searched on Yelp for a spot with a patio to study for a couple hours. I saw the good reviews so I just read through the reviews like any other place I look up. I was so surprised to see one of the reviews that stated that the owner did not allow service animals. I called to confirm, assuming that the owner actually read the law after the first incident. The gentleman that answered (I think his name is Blake) straight out told me that I can only bring my service dog on the patio. I asked if he was aware that it is against federal and state law to deny service to anyone with a service animal. He immediately cut me off and said that they don't allow them and that I was more than welcome to bring my dog on the patio. I wanted to give this establishment a chance being that it is black owned however I refuse to have my rights violated. I am filing a claim with the US Department of Justice as well as with the state of Texas. It's sad that a business owner chose to compromise the reputation of their business because of ignorance and arrogance. Unlike most people, I can prove on spot not only am I a disabled combat veteran but that I require a service animal to perform specific duties directly related to my disability. I only hope he at least humble himself enough to at least read the law (Texas HB 489 and Americans with Disabilities Act).

::I love this coffee shop. Family-owned and run, they have delicious coffee and dairy free milk options. They have food and pastry offerings that smell delicious, but unfortunately there aren't many options for my gluten-free diet. Regardless, this is a wonderful spot for studying, reading, or meeting a friend over coffee.

::I haven't eaten there yet. But I will. The owner was a friend of my Best friend...Joseph G.Davis that passes away on 2/1/2018. He always talked highly of her & her restaurant. So I gotta try it out for my BABY-BOY JOE.👍👍👍

::Today was my first time in. I hadn't had coffee in a really long time and tried there new blend. It was AMAZING! I went back for a second cup! Perfect service by Blake and the owner was nice, personable and came from behind her counter to greet me! I'll definitely be back!

::Has coupons and offers out but wont honor them. Rude owner that lacks knowledge of her business. Had a 30$ order denied because I had a valid $7 off coupon? We live in a luxury building down the street a nd several neighbors asked us about this place. I must sadly say i was denied service due to $7. Oh well on to a place that is not incompetent. 0 stars if i could!
