::Second best place to get the shredded pork roll! [#1 shredded pork roll is Green tea Land. ] but overall KC pastries always is my goto spot for everything bakery. Fresh and good and worth it! More selection of goods with consistent flavor.

::After visiting several other nearby bakeries in the neighborhood, we found our favorite: KC's Pastries. Very reasonably priced, large buns, clean and well lit space, friendly bakers and cashiers. The buns and egg custards and swiss cake rolls all taste great reheated the next day as well. We will continue to shop here.

::Just picked up a curry chicken bun, a red bean bun, and a pineapple custard bun. The curry chicken bun was SO GOOD. Highly recommend based on what I have had and what I further anticipate with the rest of the pastries I bought.

::Probably the best place to get buns and desserts in Chinatown. They offer more options for more adventurous people. I highly recommended the Chicken Pot Pie buns. You have to get their before 4 or 5pm because the best stuff sells out eventually pretty consistently.

::Wonderful. This bakery is a wonderland of affordable buns and pastries. It's hard not to love a Chinese bakery, but this one stands out as having the best red bean buns that I have ever had. The red bean buns here aren't too greasy and they have a generous amount of flavorful paste inside. Another plus is that they seal the buns in nice plastic bags for you. After you spend a dollar on 10 minutes of bliss at this bakery, you'll wonder why you spend money anywhere else.
