  Had to call to make a reservation as I am part of a group and I just had the best customer service of my life. The associate was pleasant, informed, patient, and worked several different angles to get me the best rate possible. I left the conversation with a smile on my face which is so incredibly rare for these types of phone calls. I hope everything else lives up to this same great experience.

  Stayed at this beautiful hotel for a scientific conference... I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful facility. Location is great and close to all the attractions of LA live. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Swimming pool was the best I’ve ever seen in LA hotels. I also recommend that you visit the concierge and take the LA your. It was exceptional experience and really enjoyed my stay... thank you LA JW Marriott for the great hospitality

  I recently stayed there for a conference. It was very conveniently located near the LA Conference Center. Very nice rooms and lobby. The rooftop pool was nice but the hot tub was out of order when I was there but they allowed me to use the hot tub of the Ritz-Carlton which is attached to the Marriott. I also had drinks at the bar at the Ritz-Carlton Nest restaurant which was very nice. There are many nice restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The metro station is within close walking distance. It's the perfect place to stay in the LA Live area, especially if you're there for an event at the conference center. It is definitely not your cheapest option though, there is a courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn across the street. There's no kitchenette but there is a refrigerator in the room.

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... One of my favorite hotels when doing business in downtown LA. The LA Live complex adds a lot of energy and fun entertainment choices to your stay. Rooms are the upscale Marriott product - which is very good. The lobby bar is usually active and convivial. The hotel can be a bit pricey, but sometimes it's not.

  Great location at L.A. Live. Right next to the Staples Center and less than 10 minute walk to the L.A. Convention Center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly, quickly updated my bill when I noticed I was overcharged every night. Lobby bar is good but pricy which is to be expected in a major city's downtown area. Many places to eat and be entertained within walking distance.
