I called J&V Appliance after I contacted Frigidaire when I needed service and they gave me the closest service provider in my area. The owner can be very convincing and has the answer you want to hear for everything. I had a questionable feeling from the beginning about him being trustworthy or not yet I didn't go with my gut telling me he wasn't. He blamed his employee for the first and second visit being an issue. He then said let me come myself and make things right. He was so convincing by the time he left, I had ordered 4 new appliances. He said it was a great deal and he'd have it all to me by tomorrow. When it came to delivery he was unreliable. When the fridge was in my kitchen they realized it wouldn't fit and said I had to cut the cabinet next to and above to make it fit, he said that's the only size they are made and told me I would have to pay someone to fix it and that it's not his fault it didn't fit. He is the owner and the one who measured it himself. I had to pay $200 for cabinets to be cut and my countertop needed to be cut as well. A few days later washing machine had an issue and he told me I'd have to call Whirlpool to have someone come out. Now a month and a half later my dishwasher stopped working, I called Whirlpool, they sent someone to fix, the guy was here for 2 minutes and said whoever installed this didn't attach it to the wall and or cabinets or countertop so it's not stabilized causing it to move and be uneven which in turn made it impossible to latch the door and impossible to work at all. Whirlpool doesn't deal with installation so I had to pay someone to come install it properly. I paid $100 to have that fixed. As if all this wasn't enough, I was so upset that I went to Sears to check prices on each appliance and I found out I paid $700 more than I would have there. Lastly, I am a very smart consumer who checks and double checks costs and prices to assure I am getting the best price and I got duped. I let my guard down due to moving and feeling overwhelmed with everything. Go with your gut, don't make the mistake I made trusting someone who was very convincing.
