  Peaceful, not many people but very short. Not much of a hike but a good dose of nature.

  Great hiking place, definitely need to take water, hiking shoes and if you like hiking sticks for stability is good! Usually not many people so it's very tranquil and peaceful.

  Waste of time from where I entered, Felton and Nutmeg. I took pics. Maybe other entrances are better, but the trail where I entered had no views (it was below street level) and had lots of large round rocks that hurt my feet. No doggie bags along trail either, so quite a bit of dog waste along trail.

  A good example of one of the things that make San Diego unique: canyons in the metro area. Lovingly maintained by Friends of the Canyons, the Sierra Club, the City and other locals, Juniper Canyon invites you to wander and explore the unique flora and fauna indigenous to SoCal. Please be kind by taking only pictures and leaving only footprints so others can enjoy the space.
