::Great haircut! It cost $25 (cash only), but that seems to be the going rate for this area. Jose was so welcoming and did such a fine job cutting my hair. His shop is inside the International Square building, on the ground level. If you arrive before 1100, you’ll need to call Jose’s number so he can let you in. Otherwise, just wait for a tenet to come by and let you in. If you forget to bring cash, there is an ATM just down the escalator to the subway station (that’s what I had to do). I will be going back to Jose for all my haircuts while I’m here because his expertise is only out matched by his hospitality, and that means a lot for a transplant like me.

::Literally the worst place I've done a haircut in. And I've seen places.

::I have had wonderful experiences both times that I have gone to Jose's Barber Shop. I have called in about an hour ahead of time and never had any issues. The women there are super friendly and offer great advice on how to get your haircut. It would definitely be a good idea to build a relationship with the barber there because they do take the time to get to know there clients. The haircuts are about $25 which is totally worth. One thing I should mention is that it's a bit hidden so give yourself a little extra time to get there.
