  I love Dr. DeFilippo, however contacting his office to get my dental records has been a nightmare, I still don't have them. He would get 5 starts except for the office service.

  I have had numerous root canals with Dr. De Filippo. I have always found him to be wonderful. My dentist asked me to go to this other guy in Stamford, and that other guy was a torture chamber. I am running back to Dr. De Filippo.

  I was in excruciating pain when I contacted Dr. De Filippo on a Saturday (his cell phone number is available in the answering machine when the office is closed). He gave me advise on how to manage the pain during the weekend and he was able to squeeze me in for a visit the following Monday. This was our first interaction and I was so relieved he could see me with such short notice. Most importantly, I was pain free. As someone with a previous bad experience with root canals, I was very anxious and fearful of the anesthesia. Dr. De Filippo administered the novocaine impeccably. He was gentle and I didn't feel anything. He knew I was very nervous and walked me through the process. If I have to do this again (I hope not!), it will be with him. I highly recommend him. He's very friendly, attentive and professional. His staff is also very accommodating.

  I cancelled my appointment because he wanted to charge me $90.00 for an evaluation that would not be applied to my total bill if I went forward with the root canal. I found another dentist that did not charge me for an evaluation and his fee to do the procedure was fair.

  The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a dentist and/or doctor. Unprofessional, rude, and inappropriate. Run, don't walk away!
