::This is a beautiful, quaint little mom and pops hotel. The staff is extremely polite and professional. Just because Mr. Winters didn't like that people treated him like the confused transvestite that HE is, doesn't give Mr. Winters the right to bash their beautiful business that they built. I'll definitely be staying here more knowing that there will be less confused and whining patrons staying there..

::My house that I grew up in is right up the block from the Jones Beach Hotel it is gone through its Paces in the last 58 years but I think finally we have an owner who is raising the bar on both the service the clientele and the Ambiance of the Jones Beach Hotel her name is Ellie she is a wonderful woman her clientele now consists of diners to her fabulous Italian restaurant Per UnAngelo locals and visiting guest that like to go to the small and quaint bar on the premises and the newly refurbished rooms in the hotel I just have to stay there recently due to having my floors redone and I stayed for 2 days and what can I say the service was fabulous and the meals were fabulous please if you're a local come check out the restaurant and the bar if you're from out of town do not hesitate to stay here it's well worth the money a must-try is my favorite the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce it's an appetizer but for you it's like a meal

::If I could leave less than 1 * I would. Unfortunately I'll have to be satisfied with a skating one star review. First and foremost this place is not lgbt-friendly. I repeat very intolerant. Not LGBT friendly. Stayed here on April 21st 2018, in one of their queen-size rooms. Also had dinner at the restaurant. The only Saving Grace would be Manny at the front desk who clearly has a more forward-thinking attitude then his employers. Aside from getting my entire order wrong ignoring my drink orders and basically terrible service from the wait staff in the restaurant the owner's son who refused to give his name threw me out of the restaurant for complaining about the children running through the restaurant from a party next door. In addition I was assaulted on my way out the door. I'm a transgender woman and was repeatedly insulted and humiliated while being misgendered after repeat Corrections. I explained that I am a woman and should not be addressed as sir and I was laughed at in my face. As for the rooms themselves they are old outdated lack little charm. The shower is impossible to keep one temperature as anybody flushes the water on the floor and you're instantly being scalded. Many of the lights in the room were burned out. Just a terrible experience all around and would never stay here again.

::Old hotel but there is something about it that makes you feel good. It's located near big park so you can do your bike ride or jogging. I was there in the middle of renovation so that's why I will take one star off. Stuff and owners are great. Restaurant is excellent

::The staff alone deserves 5 stars! This hotel is an old renovated building, perhaps old apartments. Not very fancy, not matching furniture, not the best decor, but I'll tell you what: it was inexpensive, super clean, and the staff was awesome. It's exactly what I needed it needed to be. I'd much rather stay somewhere functional than attractive (with an unattractive price to match)!
