  Classic sammiches. I believe they're best known for their roast beef with gravy so thick it stays on the meat and not on your hands. Potato croquettes are stuffed with ham, cheese and scallions, awesome. Eric Murphy: chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers

  I just ate the best sandwich in my life !!! Chicken cutlet on a hero with fresh mozzarella, avacado, roasted red peppers, ground pepper, fresh basil, mayo, and olive oil. The sandwich was made to perfection and definitely will be ordering again!! Expected delivery was on time which is great !! Thank you 🌀🌀🌀

  Although I dont live in Brooklyn I make a trip here just to have there sandwiches ! They have been known to have great sandwiches which is true! Well worth the trip!!

  The Tony Soprano is my favorite sandwich it this deli. There is an old school Italian deli feel when u walk in here. There is a big menu painted on the wall that gives a detailed description of what every sandwich comes with and they have specials for every day of the week. The roast beef is the star of the show here and the gravy aka black gold is the co-star. Its basically an ajou cooked down into almost molasses like consistently great for dipping your sandwich.

  The best roast beef hero you've ever had in your life guaranteed. You will think that angels descended from heaven and delivered this amazing sandwich. The toasted Italian bread is crusty and fresh. The roast beef is thin sliced and tender. The fresh mozzarella is melted on top. The gravy is black and looks like used motor oil that will stain your fingers, but damn it's delicious. Trust me, this is a hero you will savor to the last bite. Drop what you're doing, go to John's right now and order this hero. You'll thank me later... A+++ p.s. Don't forget to drop a couple of dollars in the tip jar to hear the boys yell "Subway"
