::Third time is a charm. We tried visiting this place last summer twice with no luck. I trusted the new suggested hours since I really wanted to go. I'm glad I did. Beautiful and tranquil place. It's a short stroll but it's up to you to make the most of your visit. I miss Japan and I enjoyed every single bit of the garden. Don't forget to put on bug spray.

::A good example of a genuine Japanese garden, a beautiful tea house that also offers a tea ceremony, hilly grounds, beautiful pond with goldfish that you can feed. A good place to bring your whole family.

::Lovely small park, just what I was looking for. There's a beautiful large pond with koi, bullfrogs, dragonflies, and tons of gorgeous water lilies. Although it's only open on weekends, there's a lovely Japanese gazebo with a live musician playing traditional Asian music. The park guide, Mary, is the nicest/most helpful guide I have ever met! She recommends visiting after a storm (bring a plastic bag or something to sit on so your butt doesn't get wet!)

::I would not even give this one star. The garden is extremely small and you can walk it all in 5 minutes. There is a lady collecting $10 each for this 5 minute experience. Save your money. Your own garden is probably a better experience.

::The anonymous Google user that gave this one star is completely uninformed. This is a phenomenal Garden Conservancy location...Certainly not meant to be run rough-shod by some ill-mannered brood. Many times the garden dies with the gardener. Thankfully, this is not the case here and we should be extremely thankful (& respectful). A meditative space. Uneven terrain makes it unhappily a tough go for the physically infirm. A small jewel.
