  No wait time when we came in around 2, our server Julia was so sweet!:)) She kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing!! Everything I bit into tasted amazing, and the cocktails are yummy as well! Had a talk with one of the managers as well and he was a very nice fellow, nice staff and yummy food is all I ask for in a restaurant, and they delivered!!

  I had much higher hopes for this place. Not that it's the fault of the restaurant, but the service was a little lacking. Our crab bucket came out without any utensils to break open the crab. Also ordered some crab cakes. Felt like there were bits of shell or crab debris in the cakes. They didn't stay together when you try to spear them with your fork. Almost like eating a thick crab soup. Cole slaw was pretty awesome and I had a coconut shrimp that was very tasty. Not sure if I just got unlucky or ordered the wrong stuff. I'll try again some time in the future and hopefully they can change my mind.

  The beer special was fine but the way they changed their Tuesday deal is beyond disappointing. They used to sell popcorn shrimp and fries for just $2, and I would always buy 2 of them when the Hazard Center location was still open. Now, that popcorn shrimp is sold for $4 and does not come with fries, and the serving is about half the size it used to be, though the shrimp itself is slightly bigger- but just slightly. I had asked the server beforehand if the serving was worth it and she said it was, and so I ordered. Once I had eaten just two of them, and she asked me (while I had my mouth full, as is the disgusting and annoying habit of pretty much every server out there), how the food was, I mentioned it was fine, except the portion was very small, and she agreed! Which means she misled me to begin with when I asked her if the portion was decent. That made me realize these people will tell you what you want to hear and nothing more. It's such a shame.

  This was a pretty nice place. It's wheelchair assessable and the food isn't too bad. If you have kids, they have a great menu. For adults, I recommend the watermelon sangria. It's tasty. Friendly staff and we even got our picture taken on the spot. There's no pressure but it was fun for the military dad to do with his kids.

  My daughter and I use to go to Joe's crab shack in Las Vegas until they closed. We are excited to find they are still operating in San Diego. We love the steam pots, my daughter loves the snow crab and this is our second time here well on spring break vacation.
