  I had home insurance from them. I was speaking with an agent at the Sean Mccarthy Agency Inc office. I called her 6 weeks back to reduce the insurance coverage to replacement value and make it effective Sep 30 which is when my current policy renews. She took me for a ride, selling me Auto insurance and kept saying that she will put the two in effective Sep 30. But when I asked her for the final premium amounts for both auto and home with new coverage she never responded. Today after exchanging several emails she told me that it will take 4-6 weeks to change the home insurance and I will have to pay the higher amount till then. When I asked why did she not put the change through the system she blamed it on me, as if I am happy paying the higher premium. While she also asked me for my credit card number to put in the auto insurance charge. This is ridiculous. Finally when I had enough, I asked to be put to the manager. To my surprise Tom or Dan(not sure about the name) comes on the call and says he has heard it from Gilma and I am not a good fit for State Farm and should take my business elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time, money and also insulting me as a customer. This was total harassment just to change coverage. God forbid if I have to file a claim.
